I hardly ever do! I can't believe that more people are not commenting. I have been crawling newgrounds for a while. And the material you are upload is above the par. Simple, you are one of the better artists on new grounds. Please continue to make more!

Thanks a whole lot! Your words are very encouraging!

Not bad, needs some more fine tuning.

You have a pretty solid piece here, but its definitely going to need some fine tuning if you want to release this as an EP. The loop start at 0:16 needs to be fixed, its a harsh way to introduce your listener to your sound scape. Also, for a harder house mix, try introducing your song with the baseline, instead of turning the volume up at the start, it just sounds rushed. Also, consider turning your treble down, and turning your middle up on the EQ. The beginning rings a bit to much for it to be comfortable, and the synths later in the song don't get as much space in the spotlight as they deserve around (2:20)

Also, around 2:06 consider moving the pan over to a slower rate, as I believe this will compliment the mellow vibe of the song.

This is a cut form the full 6 minute long track mate. It does starts with a bassline/kicks.

Well done.

The bass may be a wee little high in places, but the overall song is great volume wise.

The loop is good, while I was down here writeing this I hadn't even noticed that it looped!

I would experiment a little bit with adding stronger strings to a few isolated Key areas of the song, if it could be timed well enoughf you could pull it off, adding a lot of variation, and depth to the song as a whole.

BlazingDragon responds:

First off, thanks for the quick review! I'm amazed at how fast music gets reviewed on the audio portal!

Anyway, I just took the bass down a little bit on a few notes, and added some strings to the beginning. I didn't do anything drastic, but I upped the volume on them here and there, and added some more harmony at the beginning and end. The mp3 is being rendered now and should be up in a few minutes.

Thanks again for the helpful advice and review so soon after I posted this. :D

A well done song.

You managed to keep the mood of the song ambiant! with its allmost techno feel, but slow tempo I love listioning to it over, and over again!

Top marks!

VegetarianMeat responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it :)

A lot of contrasting value between sounds

I give you a seven for being unique and standing out, but I still think you could have done a better job and make it more harmonal. A strong baseling, a more constant less alien percussion. A low "Humm" every factory has one of those. Keep up the creativity I'll be looking forward to your future submissios.

Sure i'll look into it.

AH!

For a 28 second song its real nice and catchey! so I have no problem listioning to it over, and over, etc lol. You did a real nice job on the varity of the sounds, with better samples I can't wait to hear you work!

Matches responds:

Thanks, im getting more samples, keep checkin in for new songs comin up!

Good Attempt...but lacking

Its easy to see that you made a honest attempt, but a substain pedal would carrry you alot better in many areas of the song. You got some beat, and rythom now you just need to work on your "Flow". This song is very "chopped up".

GavinCantDance responds:

Totally agree with you. The organ in the beginning, or any transitions with the stings are pretty choppy, thanks for the review man. Take it easy. :D
